Help Identify Spiders and More
If you are reading the comments and know what type of spider bite, a visitor has, please feel free to help.
Warning: Some of these pictures may show a scary spider or a bite that has become infected and could be considered disturbing to some, so if you don’t like the sight of rotted skin or exposed bone, this may not be for you. However, it does drive home the importance of seeking medical attention before it’s too late!

This is for everyone at this forum, it’s been my experience that if you have what you suspect is a bite and at first it itches but after scratching it, it becomes more painful than itchy it is probably a spider bite and unless you have the spider specimen it is impossible to know what kind of spider bit you. When in doubt always get medical attention you can be allergic to spider venom just as many people are allergic to bee stings.
This is to Bill from Northeastern Ohio, having lived my 58 years in your same area and experienced a spider bite on my abdomen that took a year to heal i can tell you it was probably a wolf spider, i can’t say it for sure but it sounds like it. I went to the doctor as the redness and swelling was covering my entire lower abdomen and was painful not itchy. He took one look and said it was very likely a wolf spider as i received the bite when i was on the riding mower, i felt a small bite but just slapped at it thinking it was a mosquito or some other small biting insect. Within a couple days it became very red, tender and the inflammation started spreading. My doctor gave me a cream to put on it which really didn’t do anything so in the end i just waited (a year) for it to completely go away. Other than occasional slight itching i suffered no other ill effects. Wolf spiders (and some recluses) are very common in your area, see your doctor if you think it’s necessary. Bite marks that you can see are left by spiders large enough to leave their fang marks. Sounds like it might be worth your while to see your doctor.
ok i was eating all of the sudden i felt stinging on my arm and i look at it and there was 3 small bumps and redness around it then i went to put clean it and look at both of my arms and compared them and i saw that the arm with the bites was looking white all around the bites and my other arm wasn’t white then i went back on computer and and felt like i was losing feeling in my arm and i looked up everything that been happening to me and brown spider bite kept popping up i don’t know what i should do
Hi my Aunt was pulling weeds in the field and no Idea what bit her hand but it has a three pokes in a triangle shape and the inside has turned black and the out side is very red and swollen, it has made the poison ivy on her arm spread like mad.
Any ideas?
thanks,
Wendy

I am not a spider ‘expert’, but, because of my fear of them I have had a strange insatiable fascination with them that has caused me to find out all that I could over many years, and, I’ve had personal experience with some!
I have read a number of the questions and know I can answer some of them if no one else has of yet.
For the people being bit in their beds (as long as it is spiders and not bed bugs etc.), there is one account that they need to be aware of.
One woman was bitten several different times while sleeping, by the brown recluse, but her husband never was. They cleaned every nook and cranny of their home to no avail. As a last resort they pulled the bed away from the wall and there was an infestation on the back of their headboard, not the wall (they are called a ‘recluse’ for a reason!). They were coming out at night and because of her movement in sleep, she was the one getting bitten.
I know tons about black widows from personal experience!
My son, daughter and many of their classmates would collect black widows and keep them in jars. They were easy to find because the location of the school is on the outskirts of town so there are lots of ‘cow patties’ around. They could find them regularly under the dried up ‘patties’. I had several brought home to me where they had spun their large ball. One student left theirs at school over the weekend and to their horror (and the staffs) the eggs had hatched and tiny widows were all over the place (the air holes in the lid were plenty big enough for them to crawl thru’). I don’t need to tell you what they had to do!
I have had way more than my share of being in the same place at the same time with them.
On one trip to California I was in a womans restroom that was in a separate building as they often do with their schools and church buildings there. The place was very nice and spacious, but, it was infested with baby black widows and 2 mammas! I told a woman right there and then about their problem. She looked at them but wouldn’t believe me so went and got her husband who, being an electrician was always on power poles and always coming in contact with them, was an ‘expert’ on them. He took one look at them and immediately cleared everyone out and had it fumigated.
The problem is that the babies are often brown with speckles etc. so the color is different but the characteristic shape is still the same, and so is their ability to bite right from birth.
The males are smaller, look different and my understanding is that they are not venomous (at least not like the female) but you sure wouldn’t see me taking that chance! A spider is a spider and they ALL bite!
Black widow webs are very erratic and messy looking with no defined pattern, and the silk strands are very strong. You will know what I mean if you ever come in contact with one.
Black widows also like moist areas (more food). If you are living in a desert type of area and have a nice kept watered lawn, they move in! I know this from personal experience!
We were camping in a gorgeous resort campground in California and arrived late at night. I always travel with my can of ‘Raid’ and my flashlight. As my husband was setting up, I was ‘hunting’. Much to my shock and horror they were EVERYWHERE! Under the picnic table topS and seatS, in the electrical boxeS, in the washroomS, in every nook and cranny. I went from site to site and it was the same everywhere. Needless to say I didn’t have enough spray, but I sure high tailed to the office to find out what was going on! They reluctantly admitted that they knew all about the infestation, informed me that an exterminator had sprayed the entire area numerous times, but because of the dry desert surroundings they couldn’t keep the spiders from moving in to their moist watered resort! Every single time we did anything like sit down to eat, I HAD to inspect the entire table again, or we stayed inside where I also kept close watch. I have seen lots of black widows in my life, but I will never forget the nightmare I lived thru’ while we stayed there.
There are actually 2 different kinds of black widows, one is brown with a different marking and on the top, and there are also 2 different kinds of the brown recluse, both have the bottom of the violin starting at the base of the head and pointing towards their back ends, but one is a different color. The venom strength varies with the species.
Apparently the initial bite of the brown recluse is painless, but the type of poison attacks the tissue and often necrosis, besides the awful pain, is the result. Necrosis is horrible and if you check other sites you can see some terrible examples of it, as well as the one man on this site where the photos of his finger show the flesh that was eaten away down to the bone.
People, you all need to do some research on your own. Everyone should at least have some idea of what things are possible in the area where you live. That is never to say a doctor is not required, but on the contrary. Even if you only get a glimpse of what bit you, if you already knew what some of these creatures look like (shape, color, markings, their usual locations and hideouts etc.), your glimpse could be much more revealing than you think!
Potency of venom can also be a variable in different locations. The diamond back rattlesnake for instance, is far more dangerous around the Grand Canyon than it is up here in Alberta where I live.
Knowledge is truly the best tool any person can have for any situation or anything. Check out all negative possibilites of any place you go. Spiders are not the only things that can seriously harm you, and size doesn’t always matter!
If what I have shared helps even just one person, it was worth the time I took to do this.
Good luck to all of you and I hope that whatever medical help you seek, that you get someone with great knowledge, patience and compassion!
Have been bitten by a fingernail sized spider on the foot and 2 on the inner calf. all much like what other have described. Bite with a bruised trail leading off from the bite. These were in Egypt Sinnai area ie Sharm al Sheik area. They don’t hurt but are itchy as hell and will send in some pics.
I have a picture of a bite that looks jus like a friends bite and wondering if anyone can help identify it?

thank you to anyone that can help!
OK, I live in trinity North Carolina. I woke up about three days ago and at the very top of my thigh on the inside I have a dark red almost purple bite. It feels like a rock. I have been keeping an eye on it because in the center you can see where the fangs were. It seemed to be getting better until I looked at it this morning… The center of it now has a dark brown spot like a small scab and the outside is still very reddish purple. I have also noticed that there is a line about 1/2 inch long right next to the bite. I have been putting it off just watching it. Can anybody help me?
Someone help me! I’m only a teen and I live in Florida. I love photography and a couple night ago I was in the back yard having my brother take pics of me. I felt something ithc/sting me and when I bent down to brush my leg I didn’t feel anything there. About an hour or two later, it made a bump just like a mosquito or sand gnat in Florida. The next day the bump was larger and had a huge tmred ring the size of the palm of my hand. The next day it felt feverish and hot, and was even more ed. I put triple antibiotic on it and covered it with gauze overnight. The next morning it hurt really bad, and still itched! My joint is swollen (its by the side of my knee) and the red ring is huge and swollen. It had a very very slight darkish yellow brown tint in the middle where the original red bump is. Its sort of flat and has many tiny tiny bumps on it. Someone please help, I’m only 16 and I don’t want this to be a brown recluse or something that will take so long for me to recover from! Help please?! Its much appreciated!(:
I live on the border of Northern California and Southern California, right at the base of some hills. My backyard has lots of trees and plants, and probably a nice, comfy home for many spiders. I’ve only been bitten by a spider once before, but the bite I have now is very different from the previous. I first had one on my foot, but now, this one is on my back. It’s basically a grouping of tiny red bumps, with white tips, almost like pimples. I can’t really look at it that well for myself, but my mom says it looks like various bites. It swelled very ugly for the first few days, since I started on Monday and it was very tender. Now, on Thursday, it’s just itchy, still red, and not as swelled, but still pretty red.
Can someone help me to figure out what spider bit me, if it is a spider bite?
Hey there everyone, I’ve had an oval blotch about an inch by a half-inch on my left foot for a few days now. It’s red, normally, with a bit of a darker ring around it, but when I stretch my toes out it turns white. It’s not tender to touch, but the skin over it feels somewhat tense and when I press on it, I get a tingling sensation throughout my whole foot. This might be unrelated, since I was doing a good amount of manual labor (which isn’t a very normal thing for me, to be honest) about a day before I noticed the blotch, but the tendons in my knees have been very painful anytime I bend my leg for about a day and a half. Does anyone know if this is a spider bite, and if so, what kind of spider did it?
my hubby has a place on his arm blew the elbow it is red looks like a knot it now has a hole in it it has had pulse in it i think i got the pulse out then it wanted to bleed it is reddish round with a little hole what could it be?
what kind of bite when it hurts real bad and feels like heat is coming from it. I put a cold towel on it, and it turned hot. my whole arm hurts. what is it? thanks.
I live in texas, well i was at my basketball practice and i had on long socks, and when i got in the car i pulled it down cuz something itched, i thought it was just an ant bite, but when I woke up i looked at it again and there was now to bites and it hurt and there is a little dot in both of them and around the bite it is red, and my skin is peeling off only around it.
i don’t no if its a spider or not?
so if anyone knows please help me!!

I live in Louisiana :I awoke one morning with painful swelling in my ear and face, I was dizzy and sick to my stomach I could barely get out of bed I would try and get up but I would have a sharp pain shoot up the side of my face and make my head start pounding so I would lay back down and sleep I stayed like that for 2 days before my father stopped by and took me to the hospital. the doctor said that I had been bitten by a spider near my ear drum and they had to go in and drain the venom sack(very painful). However he could not tell me what kind of spider crawled into my ear and left a venom sack.
My fiancé has been leaving the basement door open because he doesn’t think about the creepy crawlies living in the basement!!! Well I was doing my daily house cleaning and when I went to vacuum the carpet in the living room I saw a small brown spider trying to make the escape from the big bad vacuum. So I thought I had sucked him up…last night we were laying on the couch watching TV and the inside of my calf next to my knee I get this hot, sting, throbbing feeling so I grabbed my jeans and it happened again. So I pulled my jeans up to the spot and it looked like a rash and hurt but nothing was in my jeans!?! About 30min later we went out on the front porch as I’m standing there talking it happens again and again and AGAIN!!!! I immediately ran inside our house ripped my pants off in the middle of the living room turned them inside out. The rash was bigger and a fang was stuck in one of the holes the spider made so pulled it out,so ugly but again no spider!!!! But when i woke up the rash was still there the fang marks are about the size of the width of your pinkie nail. So if you kill a spider make sure others don’t witness it because they will seek revenge!!!
I just noticed a odd looking rectangular bump with a dark red bump in the middle of it. At first I thought is was a reaction to the button of my pants, but I have never had any allergy to them before…and then it started oozing clear liquid…to I’m not sure what it is…but it creeps me out and I would like to know what it could possibly be, if ANYONE has a clue, let me know. :)
Today, while out with my sister and her boyfriend, I noticed a bite near the nape of my neck. I thought it was a zit at first, but thought it was in an odd place. It doesn’t itch, so I ruled out mosquito bites. My sister’s boyfriend, an EMT, looked at it and told me it was probably a spider bite, but I am unsure of what kind of spider bite it is. I can’t see it, unfortunately, but it feels hard and is painful to the touch (and when I don’t touch it). I’m not feeling sick, so I don’t think it was anything poisonous. For reference, I live in upstate Vermont. Help?
Okay ,
This morning my friend seen a black spider that was pretty big , and woke me up and told me about it. Then about an hour later I seen the spider myself , And that sucker was the size of about a half dollar and a half. It was just plain black , and while I was asleep , it bit me. The bite isn’t all that big , but it hurts very bad and itches. Im avoiding to itch it , just in case. But what should I do ? It looks like its starting to bruise a bit. Help…?
I woke up to a tiny white bump on my leg and it was pretty itchy but I didn’t pay much attention to it. By the end of the day the small white thing had tripled in size and it was full of white and clear liquid. I popped it open (maybe not the best idea…) and it seemed to get better, but two days later it’s still a scab, the skin around is getting more and more red and it really hurts to touch.
This happened in Los Angeles, CA and I really hope it doesn’t get any worse… Help please!
Last weekend I felt like I had a bit of the flu, very tired, hot and flushed, clammy, and nauseous which lasted for several days. I noticed a large bruise on my leg. I saw a white center so thought I must have bumped into something sharp while gardening outside so didn’t think any more about it. I do recall earlier that week wearing a pair of jeans that felt like I was getting bit but again thought nothing of it. We are in the country and I am seeing a lot of spiders in the house this spring. Then as the bruise began to fade, I noticed two puncture marks about 3/16″ apart and it felt like a stinger was in both. Then I knew I had been bitten by a spider. The area wasn’t tender like the last time I was bitten which felt like a burn. Any ideas what type of spider would have caused this kind of bruise and flu symptoms. And how to remove the stingers?
My son is 8 today is or tonight it is Saturday, my husband and I noticed this rather large welt on his abdomen , he said he didn’t remember getting bit by anything but that he noticed the thing sort of itching Thursday at school… of course he didn’t tell us about it so I can’t say anything about what it was like then, and I even recall thinking he felt like he might have a low grade fever that night, however i tend to over think the fever things so I let me husband check him and he said he just felt warm… so I just kept checking him and then i didn’t notice fever.
Now to describe his bite mark which I’m not sure is a spider bite, oh and we are in northeast Louisiana… anyway it is kind of weird but the bite sort of lines up parallel just beneath the band on his undies. the redness and swelling is more in and oval shape along that line and about maybe a centimeter tall and about an inch wide and well a little extra redness around it. I have seen a lot of bites and he did say he had popped it that day at school… but I don’t know he doesn’t really know what popping stuff means, still the bit doesn’t really appear to have a head. if you touch around it the skin turns white and its also fevered. i had him lay flat where he could see what i was doing because he over reacts like me :) and i did a few tests to see if it was bothering him… i noticed tiny tiny pinprick spot that seems kinda like an indentation i ran my finger lightly over it and had no reaction and he also doesn’t get itchy or feel pain when you touch around the area… so i used my 2 pointer fingers and very gently kinda pressed the bite area up like a popping move but not popping at all and what it showed was a line of five indention marks very small no heads and no pus one was a bit larger than the others and when i let go i touched that area softly and he did reply saying it kinda stung and burned, then i noticed he actually has 2 bumps under the swelling and next to the larger indention was like a kinda firmer not quite hardened bump under the skin and when i lightly ran a finger over it he really reacted more from pain but also saying it was itching and burning and stinging (i think it might have maybe a small little white spot but it isn’t like a white head its more like a white freckle)…
i know i didn’t want to upset it but … brown recluse are rampant here and i wanted to make sure about that… i dont think that is it, but anyway we did put some cortisone and a band aide on it because his undies were rubbing on it… but when he got up and was sitting to put socks on he said it hurt a lot to lift his leg and bend over to put the socks on … of course we got his mind off it and giggling so it isn’t bothering him ‘that’ much and he is asleep now. sorry i am just a little concerned, I will be watching it as i said, but if you have any ideas i’m all ears
I think I may have gotten a spider bite while working in my barn yesterday. I moved a refrigerator that had been there for many years, and there was a web in a crack that was a perfect flat sheet. I took it down with a broom, but I didn’t touch it. I came back inside and I noticed two red marks about 3/4ths of an inch apart on my hand. One just looked like a scratch, but the other looked blistered. I didn’t do anything about it and went to bed. Now they both just look like scratches, but ever since last night my neck has been itchy and I had felt some abdominal pain. Oh, and this morning my arm felt a little more than uncomfortable pain, but then it went away… I know we have black widows in our barn, and I’ve also seen one brown recluse. Any advice would be helpful! :)
Hi, I woke up with a hard knot on the back of my head, roughly between a nickle and a quarter in size, feels almost like a big hard zit, but I’m not to sure. I do wear hats so maybe it is from that, because it is closer to the left side of my head, about to the hat line, but I haven’t noticed it until I woke up that one morning. It is painful to the touch and like I said it is like a knot.
I found 4 bumps on my right arm, they appeared Wednesday night, while I was asleep, and I noticed that they were all in 2 pairs one found on my hand and on the bottom of my arm. They’re like a centimeter apart. At first I thought they were ant bites, because they were full of pus. But now they are all flattened red marks. They don’t hurt. I was sleeping in my room for the first few nights that I haven’t sleep in, and so they must have collected in my room, or window sill. So maybe it was a fluke. Because I don’t have many symptoms now, and it seems not to bother me. So it would be interesting to find out what bit me the other night.
I don’t know what I have so I’m just looking up stuff on the internet, I’ve had it since Christmas and its round and it looked like a wart or zit at first and then what happened is that it would itch so I would itch it then it would start to bleed like not a little blood but my hand covered in blood in a matter of minutes and so I had nothing else to do but put a band-aid on it, then today I noticed that there was a tiny hold, the size of a needle and a little white ball? I don’t know if its a blood blister or a spider bite, or mosquito or maybe even just a really weird ward but if anyone has any information it would help just email me at kristinagaumnitz [at] gmail.com
Okay, the first morning i woke up it looked like a bug bite but no big deal
the second morning it was red and the tip was hard and was a little tender
and today it is a little bigger not that you can notice, but now if i touch it, it hurts.
The same night this all happened there was a wolf spider in our garage so I thought maybe it got in they say they can be harmful so I thought maybe i have a high tolerance to the poison so I don’t know any advice it kinda scares me and hurts like hell.
Well I have a Spider bite as well, I used to BRAG cause I am Indian and rarely even a mosquito will bite me, but I guess I stepped on the spider and it got me. It itched so bad at first I think I scratched it in my sleep, today a week after I saw a scab, I am a PICKER and my daughter and I Picked it off it took us both to get it off, now I have this HORRIBLE hole and it is deep kind of looks like a flesh eating something eww anyway good luck you all I am seeing my Doctor tomorrow
Always….ALWAYS…..have a Dr. swab for MRSA. Really sounds like MRSA to me. I was told mine was a bite too. I got the bite “3” times before I had a smart doctor tell me it was MRSA.
What spider or insect bite starts as a red circle about 2inch diameter with a center point and then starts to develop a blister over the bite area after 24 hours?
Hey, um.. so,
I think I got bit by a spider in my sleep. While cleaning around my bed last night I found two spiders: one was brown and striped a little (smaller than an inch), and a little one with a big, black booty (I doubt it was a black widdow, however). I squeezed the bump lightly and it felt like a hard ball in the middle. I squeezed it harder and now the hard lump is gone and it’s flat. But it’s itchy. And my foot went to super-sleep when I squeezed it the second time, but now it’s fine. It also could have gone to sleep because I was sitting funny when I did it. I’m in school at the moment… What do I do? And what do you think it is :c I’m scared!
I have had a red dot on my pinky for over two years now. It is surrounded with a lit pink/red circle. People have told me it was a spider bit but I was never sure. I decided to day i was going to pick at it. So I spent about an hour picking at it. It started turning yellow and then a lot of blood came out. Does that sound like a spider bite?
Hi,
I have recently been bitten by a spider but i do not know what kind it is can someone tell me.
It was black all around and had a quarter moon shaped spot on its back which was orange.
Please help.
Okay so my dad got bit on the back of the neck. It looked like a normal spider bite at first. We squeezed the puss out and it seemed like there was a whitish colored square/rectangle on it. Now I’m wondering if its poisonous or not, does anybody know?
Was in the shower last night when I suddenly felt extreme burning on my right hip. Looked down and saw no insect. Had a nickle sized dark res bump, my pores looked huge within it. Woke up this morning and its still dark red and burning except now I have 3 STRAIGHT scabbed lines going through it? Any idea what this is from??
I live in Florida and I was awakened at 5:30am out of a deep sleep to the room spinning. I knew I was in trouble when my heart started to beat really fast and I broke into a high fever – and I felt like I was losing consciousness. I called 911 and they evaluated me at my home telling me I was dehydrated. Well….a few days later I put two and two together and realized that I had been bitten on my hip by something. After a biopsy of the spot, the dermatologist confirmed that it was “an insect of sorts” – and that I had a severe reaction to the neurotoxins from the bite. I see my doctor Tuesday to get the stitches out of the site – and figure out what to do if this ever happens again. Meanwhile, I think I’ll fumigate my condo because the thought of a spider in my bed EVER AGAIN creeps me out!
I got a spider bite on my left forearm, actually I’m not even sure if its a spider bite, but the teeth marks look like spiders. And its got a red line through it and I don’t know what to do.
My fiance’s backyard is mostly brush, and so I was cleaning it out. Wearing gloves of course, but short sleeves. I made sure to scrub with warm soap and water up to my elbows each time I entered the house, etc. My arms itched, and I thought it was from the briars, because they caught me a few times while I was out there. That evening I notice welts appearing. “Oh darn, the mosquitoes got me again”, but the next day I had blistering and puncture holes in each. I have nineteen of these bites. What’s really odd is that even though they are on my forearms they make my fingers itch. Tiny very spaces out blisters pop up. It is not scabies. I have had scabies three times in my life, I could write a book on identification. This has happened before too. I camped in the mountains, and woke up with about seven bites on my wrist and my ring finger blew up and itch like crazy. That time I used rubbing alcohol to keep it clean. This time I spoke to a pharmacist who said use benedryl and hydocortisone. I found that children’s benedryl anti-itch gel is amazing for this. It is drying it up, and I don’t itch nearly as much.
Could anyone identify what spider may be the culprit?
On my left hand I have a zit looking spider bite. I did see what the spider looked like. kind of a tannish color long legs that pretty much straight out. I live in Florida and I’m scared.
Hi. My name is Jessica and just about yesterday I found this big spot on my leg right above my ankle that what the color of my skin. then the next day it got a little pink but very bright then about a half hour later, it was a light red but a little dark pink. my parents think that it is a spider bit but I’m starting to get really scared. they looked at it at the end of the day after dinner and saw two little spots. but after reading all these notes. I’m sure it is a spider bit. (:(.
I have these flat round red marks on my lower stomach and upper back. I am sure they are some kind of insect bite…. i noticed them about 5 days ago… the first bites have now turned a purplish color. and i noticed i have new bites on my stomach this morning… my son has some too now.. but my daughter and husband are un-touched. I am trying to figure out what could have bitten us: spider, ants, bed bugs? i think it is odd my husband… who i obviously share a bed with.. has no bites.. my son and daughter have separate rooms. The bites are very itchy until they start to change in color… any ideas? someone i know mentioned ants.. and whether coincidence or not i loaned my niece a sweater and my sister found a large black ant on it…. hmmm.. i just want to figure out what is biting us so that i can fix the problem… HELP!
I live in Muncie Indiana and I woke up Saturday April 16th to what appeared to be a bite with two little holes in my calf and it itched like mad. I assumed it was a spider bite because we have so many HUGE spiders in our farm house that look like Wolf spiders. Anyway I walked the Susan G. Komen 5K race that day and when I got home I noticed my whole cafe had turned red and was blistering up and oozing clear fluid around the two bite marks and around new holes. Then the next morning I had all sorts of blisters and when they popped it would create a deep hole. By this time the itching had stopped and my whole calf was so painful I couldn’t wear pants or touch it and it was very red. I went to the ER on Sunday and they told me there were no brown recluse spiders in Indiana and even if there were my chances of being bitten were slim to none, said it was cellulitis and wrote me out a prescription of Doxycycline and sent me home. Monday (next morning) I woke up throwing up and so dizzy I could hardly stand, went back out to the ER and they said there was nothing else they could do, that if it were a brown recluse bite it would have killed me by then (??). So again I left very mad. I went to another hospital and they said it was a brown recluse and gave me an IV antibiotic and sent me home. Is this the proper treatment?
Can you please tell me if this looks like a brown recluse bite? I have sent a series of photo’s starting with the first to today. I am in very bad pain and still do not feel well and our hospital just gave me the run around.
Thank you,
Sheri Stewart

Hi, I’m Apple! I awoke this morning at 2am, and felt very ache on my right leg (back portion) and found a not so bruise on it and when i looked much closer, i saw a puncture wounds (as you can see in the picture). i immediately cleansed it with water and soap and put an alcohol on it. Any ideas on the identification as to what type of insect that is responsible would be most appreciated. Thank you!
I just wanted to ask if these photos i have attached is a spider bite? i was bitten by i-don’t-know-what two days ago, it doesn’t hurt yesterday, now it hurts pretty badly, I’m limping when i walk. Thank you so much for your help.
I have a bump on my arm. its little and unnoticeable unless touched. It has a green dot in the middle. It hurts when touched. Its been there for awhile now. What is it?
My bite is similar to 46s. I woke up today with a bite on my thumb about the size of the tip of a pencil. It itches like CRAZY and I can’t go for more than 10 minutes without itching it. i have 3 spider bites, 2 on my leg that were itchy and then bruised and now are healing, the other one was on my hand near my thumb that was super red and very itchy..then it started spreading down my wrist to my arm…its now starting to heal also..but now i have these red areas on my hands and my one arm..some have a few blisters and they feel like burns, especially when the hot water hits them….My hands are a little achy but other than that i feel fine..it was about 7 days ago i noticed the bites…should i see a doc or is this from something else…i don’t have health insurance that’s why i want to ask first! Thanks!
