Help Identify Spiders and More
If you are reading the comments and know what type of spider bite, a visitor has, please feel free to help.
Warning: Some of these pictures may show a scary spider or a bite that has become infected and could be considered disturbing to some, so if you don’t like the sight of rotted skin or exposed bone, this may not be for you. However, it does drive home the importance of seeking medical attention before it’s too late!

I live in Orange Beach, Alabama. I did not see what bit me. I was bitten while sitting in my car with long pants on. The bite is just above my knee. It is a blister cluster with a red circle around it about 3″ in diameter now. It itches and my joints in the knee and hip are beginning to ache 24 hours later. I have not gone to the hospital but will continue to monitor the bite.
I have what I believe to be a spider bite. I live am in Kirksville, Missouri, though I do stay in St. Louis during the summers and holidays (college student).
It is on my butt, and it is not very big, maybe a quarter inch in diameter including the red area, but it sticks out a little bit as well. It doesn’t burn or itch or anything, and I’ve had it for 2 weeks now perhaps. The center of it (the part that is mainly sticking out) has turned blackish. The area around it is growing hard underneath the outermost fatty area, but the blackened area recently grew softer before one would reach the hard part by poking it, and it is usually much warmer than the area around it. It is tender to sit on and to touch, but otherwise it doesn’t bother me. I have been having some headaches, but nothing else of note, and the headaches have only started within the last couple days or so. Any ideas on what this could be?
Morgan, it is good you brought this up (MRSA). because I am being tested for this right now!!! I posted earlier here (see my pics, post #490), but when my sister, an RN, visited and saw that my neck was getting worse, not better, she insisted I see my Doc.
Good luck … hoping ours really ARE “just” spider bites! ;-(
This is a bad, bad, bad staph infection that has beaten about every anti-biotic out there. Praying I’ll have the lesser of the two evils…

I had a red mark on my arm that formed a lump with the center slightly reder than the rest of the lump and it was painful. it went away after a couple weeks. All of a sudden out of nowhere it is back again and seems to be getting worse. Can this be a spider bite? I’ve heard someone else mention something like this and It is definately not a pimple.
Thanks
One comment, Staph infection -CA MRSA – if it’s red, hard, swollen and there is pus….maybe you should have a doctor check it out. We have endured 3 staph infections in my household and you can’t treat it yourself. Some of these pictures looked like some of the infections we had.
hi i seem to have these little bites and they come in twos, but it seems to be spreading and i dont usually feel it when things bite me so im not sure. But the bites look like little pimples but they hurt and itch.So if you can, help me!!!
Thanks
I live in Central Arkansas.
I noticed 2 bites on my right shin/calf area yesterday afternoon. They were 2 raised, white pus filled bumps about a quarter of an inch apart. The red area around the bumps was about the size of two half dollars laid side by side and it didn’t really concern me until I woke up this morning and the redness around the bites (which have since popped on their own) has quadrupled in size.
here is the best picture I could take of my leg:
Does anyone know what this might be a bite from? and is it worth waiting until tomorrow to see a doctor?
and just for a reference on how much the redness has grown, the black outlines the area that was red yesterday, and the blue outlines the new redness
Thanks in advance for any and all help
I have a bite, small in a circle. looks like there is a black stinger in it and inflamation circling it. There is nothing stuck in it. It does not hurt and no side effects. I did not see the spider.
I live in MN, Went into my RV to close up the windows and took my hiking boots off as not to put foot prints on the floor. It was night time and I did not turn lights on so I was working in the dark. Slipped my boots back on and left the RV to go to the house. I walked about 100 yards when I felt an unbelievable burning sensation on the top of my foot. I quickly pulled off my boot and looked at my sock in the darkness when I noticed a light colored spider (white) about the size of a quarter on the grass.
My first response was to pound the little guy wildly with the boot in my hand while hobbling on one foot and so I did. The problem with doing this is that I lost the little guy in the deep wet grass in the darkness. I am sure I got him as I pounded the ground about 1000 times a second in my excited state.
My question/comment is the pain I felt… I have been stung by Bees in the past and yeah it hurt… This was much worse than a Bee sting and it hurt for a lot longer. It felt like someone took a lit cigarette and held it on the top of my foot. I only tolerated this for about 20 minutes before calling the hospital for advice. I was bitten by a spider one other time and it was a red spider about the size of a dime and that felt less painful then a Bee sting. I got (squished) that one in my hand right after he bit me in the back.
It’s been two days since I was bit by the white spider and I have a small rash on my upper foot with two entry marks about 3/8″ apart. What kind of white or really light grey spider in MN can deliver such a painful bite? The hospital told be to clean the bite area and then put a baking soda/water paste on the bite to draw out the venom. Then about an hour later they called me and advised me to get a tetanus shot and said many outdoor spiders carry tetanus.
Anyone know how such a small insect can deliver such a whopping painful bite?
My husband is a Electrican yesterday he had to stick his arm up into a concrete wall. When I picked him up later that day I saw a reddish blue bump on his left forearm. I asked what happen and he told me that he did not even realize that it was there. (He gets lots of cuts and scraps all the time) It looks like a spider bite to me. This morning he woke up for work and the bump had a head on it and pus came out of it. If anyone knows what this is please let me know
To #300 (Lindsey):
I’m CONVINBCED, now, that I, too, have suffered a BAD SPIDER BITE…
It started about six weeks ago: at first, I felt a hard, “pinchy-painful” bump on the back of my neck, and, as I spent a lot of time outdoors in my garden during this summer, assumed it was either a “sweat-pimple” or a mosquito bite…
Of course, it itched like mad, and over the next few days I tried EVERYTHING to stop the itch and burn, from peroxide to calamine lotion, witch hazel and Neo-sporin to Lana-Cain, to no avail.
The bump swelled and the skin broke, but no bleeding, just a sappy clear ooze, and after that, it was weeping constantly. I couldn’t put a bandaid on it, or it would STICK when it dried (sort of, because it never REALLY dried, either) and the flimsy soft scab would get pulled off (YOWWWW) when I removed the bandaid…
At the same time, although I never connected the two situations until now, I experienced a few major migraine-type heaadaches and stomache-flu symptoms (indigestion, nausea, lethargy, just plain YUCKY feeling) that had me in bed most of the following week! Because this “flu” was so miserable, I assumed IT was causing my “bug bite” to not heal quickly.
While I was back on my feet at the end of two weeks, although still dealing with monster headaches and off-and-on nausea, the bite area was worse, swelling to about the size of a grape, and “hollowed out” now, like a “crater”, as someone here put it, never dry, always “weeping” this sticky yellowish-clear fluid.
Besides being painful, it was UGLY, I’m sure, to look at, even though *I* couldn’t see it, so I kept my hair in a low ponytail when out, hoping to hide it and not to disgust other people. But my sisters both remarked on it one afternoon, telling me it looked livid purple around the edges and that I might need to see a doc to get antibiotics…
(I didn’t listen).
By the fourth week or so, it was “drying” and peeling around the edges, the swelling was going down, but the itch was still maddening. Suddenly, I discovered that there were TWO NEW itchy painful BUMPS just above the slowly healing one! That was two weeks ago (today’s October 15).
Now, I am going through it all over again with the latest “bites” that have by now merged into one huge wound above the first one. This pair are just in my hairline at the nape of my neck, so I had trouble getting the pictures (see below) right (without hair being in the way). I must say, I am shocked, and sicker than I already was, after seeing the pictures.
The older bite area, ringed by a deep grey-purple bruise-looking color, almost looks as though *something* (the round white area) is IN THERE!!!
Above it, the fresh wound is deep and raw and painful, seeping constantly, and everytime I move my head, my hair gets stuck to it, then yanks up the nasty “wet gunk (so definitely not a real scab). I had no idea the whole “wound” area was this huge until looking at pictures a little while ago…
Did I get bit TWICE and THRICE by a relative of the first guy, during my forays into the garden???
I have had NO OTHER BITES like these, anywhere on me, ever.
Since they are not anywhere else, I’ve ruled out scabies or impetigo (sp?), but I’m still not very reassured. Will get to a doc this week FOR SURE and have him look at these…
Because now I’m freaking out (that white lump – what IS that??) and worried something *left something there*…
Anyway, sharing the ghastly pics of MY super-bad spiderbites below…
Thanks for letting me sound off…now I’m off to the bathroom for some dry heaving… ;-(

I have attached below a picture of a spider bite that is located on the back of my head. I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of spider this might have of been and what I should do about it.
I live in South Carolina near the coast and my 3 year old son was bitten this weekend. We don’t exactly know what it was. I think it was a spider. My husband and I both have bites and they are all identical. It starts out as looking like a pimple but with a strange center. Then it gets very swollen and the tissue around it is hard and red and warm to the touch. When it does finally pop It leaves a sort of pot hole in your skin. I’m taking my son to the doctor today. I would just like to find out what it was. Thank You!
Hi, i live in South Africa and one day woke up with a red lump on my pointing figer, it is sore to the touch, after 2 days it grew a little yellow ‘bulb’ in the middel! it is starting to seriuosly scare me! I have recently been very light headed and very bad headaches, all my joints are sore and are all swollen(behind knee’s, hands and fingers, feet are swollen) I tried to squeeze it because i thought it was a really big pimple, i had the same (simalar) bite in the entrance of my nose! The day i got the bitten I had to get rid of 3 spiders on my bed, they were small but still scary, any advise????
Emy
It looks like a little white head. It’s really red and puffy around it. My whole leg hurts from it. I have tried popping the “white head” and only a little bit of pus came out.
Hi, I live in Michigan, and in the middle of the night, I felt a pinch on the end of my nose and then a few minutes later the bite started to burn. In the morning, I looked at the bite and the bite mark was red with a small bite mark in the middle of all the redness. The bite mark oozed white liquid. I’m not sure if the liquid is pus or not. It’s been a few days and the area still looks red and she it’s still burning as much as it did if I touch it or not. I’ve tried cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and that seems to be helping a little, but would you know what kind of bite mark this is? Just in case, so I know if have to go see a doctor or not.
Thank you,
Claire Craddock. :)
About 4 or 5 days ago I believe I was bitten by something when putting on my sweat jacket. I was bitten on the back of my arm about 2 inches above the elbow. I vaguely remember the bite, it was more like a little pain. I really didn’t pay no mind to it, other then the constant dull pain in my arm, I am now starting to experience a burning sensation along with the constant ache. I believe this bite is causing some nerve distress from the area where bitten down my arm into my hand, in fact, at times my hand feels ice cold and tingly. The best that I can discribe the actual wound area is as follows; it is about an inch in circumference, swollen (like a small goose egg), red with white raised bumps (like a real bad case of acne). I can not see any sort of punture type in the area. I am far from being a worry wart over things, but, this certainly concerns me due to the pain and the nerve distress I am encountering. I really don’t like having to spend hundreds of dollars to a Doctor, just to tell me it’s nothing, or something stupid. If you could shed a little light on this, it would be greatly appreciated. I am going to try and send a picture with this.
Sincerely,
Debbie Johnson
My son heals very well but, he said it itch a little bit…Are he out of danger? Does it still a chance that get infect? That was about a week ago!
My nephew who is two has a spider bite on his arm we can’t identify the bite but it’s large red and getting a small white tip in the center please help us because we have killed SEVEN BLACK WIDOWS in the past week and a half.
My brother in law is in the hospital in Cleveland Oklahoma, with redness, feverish and a severly swollen left leg. It starts about 4 inches above his ankle and goes up to the knee cap. It goes about 1/2 way around his leg. The doctors are stumped, all his tests come back normal as do his vital signs, and per an ultra sound there are no clots in that leg. He has intense pain (even after 50 mg. of morophine) and it is not responding to high dose antibiotics. It started Monday 10-8-07 and as of today (10-11-07) it is still spreading. I was wondering if it could be caused from some type of bite ?
My boy was bitten on his hand a couple of weeks ago. We ignored it for a day and his hand swelled to a painful size. Anyway, his pediatrician put him on Prednisolone SOD PHOS for three days…it worked!
Hope this helps…
I live in FL and was bit by a spider (or at least I’m pretty sure it was) on the inside of my left foot just below my ankle bone. It swelled a little bit and the area was extremely hot to the touch. Now the bite area doesn’t look bad, but my foot is bruised (purple and reddish looking) and it’s really painful. I was reading through some of the postings and there was one from Racine on Dec. 22, 2006 who lived in FL and had the same symptoms. Any ideas?
three bites on my back. they sting and swelled up fast. They look like welts but there are holes in them. the area around them got red but no circles. I don’t feel sick but my arm is getting tinggaley like I hit my funny bone.
Bite on May 6th, 2007
Still presenting problems as of October 9th, 2007
Outside cleaning patio furniture, came in and about 1-2 hours later felt burning-itching on toes on top of left foot. I thought it was ant bites. Then noticed 2 bites at bottom of small toe and 4th toe. Very easily seen (..) two puncture marks close together. I feel it was a spider bit but did not see it.
Swelling and itching began and has not stopped since the bite. Tried to treat it with cold compresses and had tested for a fungus, medicine given by Dr. but did not help. Always returns.
After swelling and itching the skin became blistered, white and peeled away in layers.
Area around the bottom reminded me of poison ivy. In that small pustules formed and white liquid leaked out. Liquid still oozing from the area bitten and on toes. Toes still swollen, reddened, itch uncontrollably. I feel tired quite a bit since this incidence occurred.
Woke me up last night and I put cold compress on them because of the extreme itchiness to try to help me go back to sleep.
Returned to the Dr. but she cannot seem to get a handle on this. I am 76 years of age and very concerned! Anyone have any suggestions?
Has not healed in 6 months. I have been treating it with a Brown Recluse Spider kit I ordered off the web but have not had any change.
I live on the East Coast of Florida.
i have a small bump that resembles a pimple or ingrown hair, right above my knee. within 8 hrs of first noticing the bump the whole area of the knee began to swell with alot of pain. there are a few hard spots right below and around the bump. I don’t recall being bitten, but it looks like some kind of bite to me. the whole knee area is about double the normal size of a knee with a noticeable fever in the area. any suggestions?
I have 3 areas of itchy red hive-like bumps on my abdomen and back that may be spider bites. They have a pale whitish center with a single “hole” in the middle. I thought they were related to food I ate, but they still are painful to touch and itchy, and it has been a week. I have been cleaning out old papers and clothes, and had some small light brown ants as well. I am afraid they are in the bedroom area, but bumps seem to erupt unrelated to sleeping. At least one set of red bumps is arranged in a very circular pattern; but each bump is distinct.
Any ideas?
Hello,
I was bitten a few days ago by what I assumed was a mosquito. I live in Va and we have various spiders around. I remember two spiders crawling around that night who are a beige/tan color and are strange because their legs(?) in the front are disproportionately longer than the others so that they don’t look like a ‘normal’ spider to me. It’s possible that they hang off of long strings from the trees to the porch.
The bite area is red and sort of itchy around the bite and there is definitely at least one larger puncture and possibly two, but I shaved the day after so I don’t know if I just irritated it. It’s sort of swollen as well. I’m not too concerned about it as it isn’t getting bigger and doesn’t seem to be affecting me, but it would be nice to know what it is.
Thanks,
Liz
This has to be a spider bite. I wrote to you guys a couple days ago saying i didn’t know what it was but it hurts sooo bad to the point that i cant even walk right. It gets worse everyday. I went to the doctor today and they gave me medicine so I hope this helps it. They told me if it gets worse to call them on Thursday. I hope it does get better because it’s way too painful and it’s so hard to move or bend my leg. It looks disgusting!
So far my son seems to be ok. He steel saying that he don’t feel a thing. But you can still seeing 2 tiny black puntures. no bumps, no more pink around the area. I still keeping an eye on him. I check his temperature (moms style, hand on the forehead) and I frequently ask him…”you feeling ok”. But I read in here so many people who is very seek and I don’t understand why don’t go to the hospital. The only reason I keep posting is because I notice that so many people don’t feel a thing at the moment and a couple of days later they get so sick. As soon as I notice anything wrong with my bay, I’ll run to the hospital!
spider bite on right arm center in black 1/2 inch are pushed up red with white areas area is hard plus arm is swollen and throbbing
I noticed my son’s right leg is swollen with a hard bump. I thought it might be a due to spider bite but I couldn’t find anything that appears to match what he has. What is the recommended treatment for spider bites?
I was working a week ago last Friday, and I had my arm behind the chimney, it felt like a nail stabbed my arm, I pulled my arm out and didn’t see any blood so i didn’t think anything about it. Now after a week has passed my arm is puffy and red, it looked like four quarters stacked on top of each other before I popped it and tried to get it out.
It feels a little better now but is still sore and swollen. I keep pouring 91% alcohol and hydrogen peroxide on it to disinfect the area. I already went to the doctor and they gave me a prescription. I was wondering what type of spider that it was.
I live in Tampa, Florida and just last night I was bit by a spider on my toe. My toe is swollen and red, but not too bad just hurts like hell. But my entire body is now in horrible pain. It is in such bad pain that it actually woke me up and has kept me up all night. I also feel a bit nauseous.
A spider bite my son about 45 minutes ago. We didn’t saw it but I can tell by the 2 puntures kind of yellowish in a pink tiny bump. He said it din’t hurt but, he feel kind of burning sensation. I call 911 and they told me to call poison control. I been told by them to clean it, put ice and wait for the next hours to see what happen. Now it looks a little more bigger but he said he doesn’t feel nothing.
I took several pictures of the bite.
On Thursday a fiend came home from working with FEMA to find her husband dead on the bedroom floor. Apparently, he had been there for several days. After an autopsy was performed it appeared to come from a spider bite on his leg. During the autopsy the doctor cut a big chunk out of his leg where the spider had bitten him. He was a semi-truck driver and had gone to Texas where he was bitten by a spider about two weeks ago. The coroner also found he had high fever, chills and vomiting. He had been vomiting in the shower.
PLEASE GET TREATMENT!
I don’t really know where I got this from, but people tell me it looks like a spider bite. I’m not sure on size, but it’s about an inch in length and has been swollen for about a week now. The bite has little purple spots on it.
The other day I found a bump on my right arm, and I just totally ignored it. Today while at school, it started feeling like someone was stabbing me in the arm. One of my teachers said it was a spider bite. So when I went to the nurse all she did was but antibiotic cream on it.
It is a swollen spot on my arm that is bright red with two white bumps in the middle.
Is it a spider bite? If it is, what kind of spider bit me???
I was bitten by something while at work. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The bite spot was not apparant for several hours but prior to the bite I thought I felt something, looked and could not find anything in my pants leg. The area where I was bitten but did not know at the time became itchy but no visible redness or anything till almost 48 hours later when I noticed I had a red swollen area. After several days and forgetting about the bite I was taking a shower and accidently rubbed the scab area off. Underneath the scab was a what appeared to look like a deep hole in my leg and after drying off the area was oozing a almost clear substance that would harden up if I did not wipe off right away.
I have used hydrogen peroxide on the area and neosporin but a week and a half later it does not appear to be getting better. I also approx 2 days later became violently sick, had to leave work due to being disoriented, sick to stomach, severe migraine and had no focus ability. The sickness went away about 24 later but the migraine continued for several more days and I still had a general feeling of ickyness in my stomache. I will email pics of my bite area and a possible spider suspect that I just today found in my office. I tried to now squish it to bad so it could be indentified. Subject line will be 10/4/07 spider bite and possible suspect.
Any help would be appreciated.
My husband and I recently returned from a trip to the Grand Cayman Island. Within a few days of returning home, I noticed that I had several small red bumps on my legs. They itched like crazy and I could not help myself but to scratch them. I am now noticing more and more little red bumps – on my legs, arms, even my fingers. We live in Wisconsin, USA so I have no idea what I am up against but the itching is incredible and they seem to be multiplying. My husband has some of the bites on his arm, back, and chest but he said they do not itch him like they itch me. Any suggestions? I have been researching for days with no ideas! Thanks!
Lately, every time i wake up i find a new red mark that kinda looks like a mosquito bite except it looks like its filled with pus or water. I’m not sure what it is but it looks like a spider bit me. I get them on different spots every time i wake up. I’ve gotten two on my thighs, one by my knee, and two on my calf. They don’t appear all at once, I get a different one almost everyday. I always pop them, but then sometimes they hurt. I found a tiny spider on my bed the other day, so that’s why I’m assuming it was a spider that bit me. I also looked up some pictures and they looked similar to spider bites. If anyone knows anything about what i just explained please let me know. I’d appreciate it.
Two weeks ago I was bitten by a spider. I didn’t disover this until, late at knight. I developed severe head ache, joint pain, mucle pain,
stomach swelled, ran temp for five days and I still running a low grade temp., sinsitive to light with sever pain in left eye, also a rash. I sought medical attention three days after the bit. I have no idea what king of spider this was. My physician prescriber a mic. antib., and a homemade rememdy anti. bot. ointment one of our local pharm. makes.
The site where the spider bit was a large red spot. The medication is dowing great wonders, and I am feeling better.
Not knowing what spider bit me, I was wondering if anyone could help, with this by the reactions I have had.
I was sleeping in a friend’s cabin on the Delaware River in Upstate New York and woke up in the middle of the night because my entire right arm ached and felt sort of “paralyzed”. I could hardly move it and there was joint pain. I went back to sleep and when I woke in the morning I found a spider bite near the knuckle on my right thumb. I knew it was a spider bite because of the two punctures close together in the center of the bite. Over the next two days it swelled and produced pus and then all the skin around it died and flaked off. I also had joint pain in my hand, meaning my knuckles on my fingers and my wrist, for about two days. It’s been about a week now since the bite and the skin is just red and raw, and layers keep flaking off every day. I didn’t see the spider, so I have no idea what type of spider it could have been. I’m honestly less concerned than I am curious. Any ideas?
I don’t have photos. Not sure I was bitten but I don’t know what the heck else it could be. I became aware of something a little over 2 weeks ago at the inside of my left index finger and more to the topside of the hand, bottom of the finger – it began as slightly painful but I didn’t take a look at it for a day or two. When I did it was a very small red bump that itched a bit and hurt even more. After a week I went to the doc and he said he didn’t know what it was and he didn’t want to treat it in any way – as in burning or freezing it off, or treating the slight infection it seemed to have. Since then the center of the red spot (which has grown to 3/8″ diameter) has dried up 3 separate times on the very top with a white crust that peels off and is very painful – each time the crust becoming smaller. Now it’s a 3/8″ red slightly elevated spot that itches like the dickens and is painful off and on. It was very thick/firm feeling at first and now the area has softened quite a bit. I live in Modesto, CA. Any ideas? Thank you!
I was bitten by something a week ago today, Monday, Oct. 1, 2007.
The area started out itching and red with a small pus pocket. Since then, it has itched and the red area has gotten to be larger than a dollar coin – it is about 6cm. The bite is by my left side clavical bone and has a red line that appeared on Sept. 29th, 2007 that extends from the bite to my left arm pit. Should I seek immediate attention. The area did not grow an open sore, but raised up slightly. Thank you.
I recently think I was bitten by a spider, I install automatic gate systems and I am often in the bushes, under houses, etc. I have a sore on my calf, it is about an inch around with one hole in the center. It is red around this hole and the is a kernel under it that is very painful. I also have red spotting on that leg around the sore that itches badly. Please let me know what you think it might be.
Thanks
Larry
What’s up?
Well, it looks like a small knot and there isn’t any marks of a bite on it that I can tell. Also, it is soft and painless. I live in Florida and there are many small brown-ish spiders in my home if that helps.
Thanxs!
It started out as a small black area on my leg. I scratched the black area but it was back the next morning. By then, it was extremely itch and very swollen. The black part is also recessed. It looks kind of like a small crater. Does anybody know what it is or if its even a spider bite?
I have been getting bites of some kind.. They look like a mosquito bites.. They itch real bad the botton of my feet itch and the palm of my hands itch also.. There r no bites on them. The bites i have are around my waist and on the back of my legs and on the butt.. seems like the bites are where my clothes r at.. I am calling the Dr this coming monday after all there are none open over the weekend.. can anyone help me with the itch or what to do to get them to sop bitting me Thanks Robin from Tennessee
I’m not sure if it’s even a spider bite. I woke up today feeling very sick and running fever. Later I noticed a small bump on my finger it feels hard but very sore. It looks like a few holes or indentions on the bump. It’s now 7:30 pm I’m still feeling very sick. Cant send a pic, but does it sound like a spider bite? If so, what kind of spider could it be? Please email me ASAP! Thank’s!
it looks like a mosquito bite but it is raised almost to a point in the middle. the bite itself is reddish, it almost feels like a bee sting, it is hard when you touch it. they are in random spot on the back of my legs. i thought i had a spider infestation in my work pants. cuz they are only on my legs; one on the back of each calf, 2 on my knee cap, 3 in a little bunch on the back of my thigh, and one around my ankle. they itch but i try not too scratch them. oh yeah i live in the basement with my window being ground level, i always see spiders down in the basement.
